Ginger is a smart, affectionate girl who was rescued from an animal control shelter in 2006. Three years later, she's still having a hard time putting her best paw forward in her search for a new family because she is timid in new situations and around people she doesn't know. In a home environment with some one-on-one attention, we know she'd blossom and become more confident. While Ginger would love to find a family of her own, we're also actively looking to place her in a foster home with someone who will encourage her to come out of her shell and give the world around her another chance while she waits for her forever home. Ginger loves to play with toys and do silly tricks, like waving and begging for treats, and she is a true attention hog who would prefer to be the only pet. If you're interested in helping Ginger explore her full potential, whether by adoption or providing her with a safe foster home, please let us know!
