Happy is a 2yo male pekingese mix who was rescued just in time from a rural Arkansas kill shelter. This is a great kids' dog! Happy is friendly and well-socialized with a medium activity level. Loves to run and play outside, but then settles down quickly in the house. Likes to go for walks, loves to be with people, enjoys being petted and brushed. Great with kids, cats and other dogs. Recommended for children 6 years and older. Good on a leash, rides great in the car. Knows basic commands . Housebroken and crate-trained. No issues such as separation anxiety, chewing or barking. Weighs about 10#, healthy, altered and utd on shots. Here's a note from his foster mom: 'Happy is a very playful, lovable and affectionate dog. He gets along great with kids and our miniature schnauzer. He loves to play ball in the yard and go on walks on his leash. He loves to be cuddled and lay close to you on the couch.
