He is a larger chunkier Peke.He loves to be petted. He is a very quiet laid back old man. He does have some food aggression but it is mostly all talk and no action. He was very bony and thin when he got to the shelter he was in. He was very neglected. He loves to go outside. He will spend hours outside just sitting in the sun.He gets along well with other dogs ,cats and kids. He does need a nice quiet home to enjoy his older years in. He is house trained and loves to sleep in a soft dog bed.His adoption fee is $75.00 and a home visit is require. He needs a home with a fenced in yard. Peke's can live to be in their late teens, so Chewy has many wonderful years ahead of him with the right loving home! $75 adoption fee850-968-3260Pensacola area The Junior Humane Society is a non-profit, all volunteer, animal rescue group. For the past 23 years, we have taken in owner released pets so they won't be taken to the pound/animal shelter. All animals waiting for adoption are placed in foster homes. Before placing the animal in a permanent home we provide all necessary vet care, including but not limited to shots, spaying and neutering.
