NOV 9, 2008 --Oh me, oh my! The last thing we expected when we accepted Noelle was that she was expecting herself! Noelle is a beautiful if obese purebred Papillon, sable and white, and she is somewhat unsocialized. She was found in Baytown and given to a member of our group. Unfortunately, we later found out that the people who found her allowed to be exposed to at least two different unaltered male dogs while she was in heat. One of the potential fathers is a white and cream 7# Chihuahua. The other is a white Shih Tzu. Hopefully, Noelle will be able to give birth to this litter, her last, without complications due to her weight or size. As obese and pregnant as she is, she still only weighs 11.6 pounds. At her correct weight, she'll be a nice, small Pap! We have decided to put her up so people can begin to think about adopting one of her puppies. We know there are at least three, and she is due any day. Because they are babies, potential adopters will be screened with extra care. If you think you want to apply for one of these puppies, you can watch for updates and puppy pictures. You may also request an adoption application by emailing firstname.lastname@example.org.
