Description: 
Dakota is a beautiful, 1 year old, Landseer Newfoundland female. She has been mostly neglected and unsocialized previously, so she is very shy and fearful in new places. She is getting more comfortable daily though and we are working on building her confidence! Dakota is house trained and walks fairly well on leash, but her foster family will be teaching her basic commands and working on crate training and brushing up on her house manners because she has mostly been on outside dog previously. She is good with dogs and gentle with kids, but hasn't been around cats yet and would probably do best in a quiet home environment. Dakota is a very sweet, loving, affectionate, and sensitive girl with lots of love to give a family willing to continue working with her!
