Description:
Rocky Raccoon was a stray wandering around a large city in NJ. Luckily, he was found by a member of another rescue group who got him to a vet, groomed him, and started him on a healthy diet. Since no one ever looked for Rocky, he is now ready to find a new home where his owners will care enough about him to keep him safe and sound! Rocky is a 5-year-old purebred neutered male Miniature Schnauzer. He is salt and pepper with natural ears and a docked tail. He was given the name Rocky Raccoon because of the black banding around his eyes. He is sweet and affectionate but not crazy about being kenneled (typical Schnauzer!). He is housetrained and good with other dogs. He needs an experienced owner and some training since he can be food- and toy-possessive. Rocky would do best with no young children in the home.
