Description:
Please contact Sarah (sarah@humane-livingston.org) for more information about this pet. Please check with us often for adoption specials, fundraisers and special events that benefit the homeless animals at our shelter. Leo is one of over 20 dogs rescued from a puppy mill situation. The dogs were very neglected but are all very sweet and happy! They have been groomed and are now ready for adoption. Leo is a very unique color of blue and rust. Leo is estimated to have been born around 2003. He weighs about 9 3/4 pounds. Leo is not house trained and will need a patient owner willing to help him transition from a puppy mill to a home. Leo is a very sweet guy who seems to get along well with other small dogs. Unfortunately, because of the degree of neglect, the dogs did not receive proper medical care. Leo is heart worm positive and has some other minor special needs that he is dealing with. Due to this, his adoption fee will be adjusted accordingly. Leo will be required to come back to the HSLC shelter for heart worm treatment at no cost to the adopter. Thank you for considering one of our pets!
