April 8th was a beautiful warm day, perfect for running and playing outside in the HUGE back yard, right? I was running a 100 miles an hour chasing my siblings when this darn pole jumped out at me, out of nowhere, wham, head on collision. Mom was standing right there when it happened and that’s the last thing I can remember, running into this pole that would not budge. Mom says I laid on the ground lifeless, she ran over to me, called the Emergency Vet, scooped me up and drove 90 miles an hour to get me to the vet clinic. Later Mom told me that my siblings had fun with her cell phone that she had left on the ground, lol. Doc Eva looked me over very carefully and said I bruised my brain, I impacted that pole with my eyeball (ouch). She said only time would tell if I'd make a full recovery but it wasn’t looking good. I remember in the back of my mind somewhere hearing them discussing euthanasia, WELL HELLO, I’m still in here I can hear you I just can’t move. Mom bundled me back up and took me home, armed with IV fluids, pain killers, steroids and you name it. She made me a soft cozy bed in her bed room and watched over me for the next two days ( yup she looked tired...not to mention what the stress done to her).
