Mace is a very special dog and is looking for that someone that has a special place in their heart for a wonderful friend. Mace was dumped in the country outside Shelton, WA by an unknown person. When he was found by an angel of a lady, he was almost dead. He was taken to the vet and after some test they found out he was diabetic and had K9 cataracts because he had not been treated for the diabetes.
Its hard to believe that the dog he is today is the same one they brought home so many years ago. He has put weight back on and has learned his house manners, can see some shadows so he get around pretty good. He doesn't think he's very special, he just want a chance to be like the other dogs. Other than shots twice a day he is no more trouble than any of the other dogs.
His shots are very easy and the meds don't need a doctors prescritption to refill. Cost less than $20 a month for all his upkeep. His shots are given when he eat, because nothing bothers him when he's eating.
They guess his age to be about 9 to 10 years, he has many more to go. He stands about 15' tall and is almost all black in color. Very good with strangers, kids and most other animals. Loves to take you for walks, and he will ride in the car forever.
I hope you will look into your hearts and think about giving him a new home and life with you!
Mace is located in Tualatin, OR.
