Honey Bear is a beautiful, 2.5 year old, Fawn, English Mastiff female. She was abandoned at a vet clinic when her owners were moving and couldn't take her with them. We suspect that this sweet angel has been abused and more than likely by a man because she is more leery of men than women. It takes a while for Honey Bear to warm up, but she will if you go slow with her and once she bonds she will look to her humans for reassurance. Her new family will have to be committed to continuing to work with her on positive socialization to help her learn to trust again. She is good with other dogs, but needs slow introductions and time to get comfortable. Honey Bear basically just ignores cast. She would prefer a home without young kids because they make her nervous. She is house trained, crate trained, knows sit, down, come, and here. Honey Bear is a very mellow girl and a true couch potato. She has some minor arthritis but still loves to go for walks and does great with Glucosamine daily!
