Plato is a 1yo male mastiff mix who was rescued as a stray in Memphis. This is a gentle giant, mild-mannered with a calm temperament. Plato has a medium activity level. Loves to run and play outside, but then settles down quickly in the house. Likes to go for walks, loves to be with people, enjoys being petted and brushed. Great with kids, cats and other dogs. Recommended for children 6 years and older. Good on a leash, rides great in the car. Housebroken and no issues such as separation anxiety, counter surfing or barking. When we first got him, Plato was somewhat shy and skittish, but he quickly learned to trust us and now fits right in. I think he probably wasn't well cared for in his previous life but he seems very happy and appreciative to be living here in the house with our family and getting lots of attention. Weighs about 65#, healthy, altered and utd on shots.
