For all of you who have been following the saga of our sweet little Bunny I hope this update will bring a smile to your face. Bunny was diagnosed with megasphogus. She was to be euthanized at a local shelter until our rescue pulled her. She has been adopted three times to wonderful people and has traveled the continental United States to find her forever home. Unfortunately her grave medical situation always brought her back home to Pet Matchmaker. But Bunny's saga will have a happy ending. Bunny will be leaving PMM and going to a wonderful angel in Palm Springs who rescues and specializes in dogs with medical needs. This fellow rescuer has experience with dogs that have megasphogus and Bunny will receive the care that she deserves. We hope to purchase Bunny her very own Bailey chair which will allow her to be fed in a vertical position which will help her keep her food down . At her new rescue she will be living in a home environment until she finds her forever owners. This transition to her new rescue will happen once we raise the 500 dollar medical sponsorship that will need to accompany her. Please help Bunny by making a small donation. We appreciate every penny that helps to get Bunny to a more comfortable life. We thank everyone who has donated to Bunny's needs in the past. THANK YOU: Joy Cisneros, Gaby Hernandez, Rakeisha Hill, Stephanie Snyder, Joan Zatorski, Tracey Trojan, Tiffany Wall, Daryl Kostka, Velvette de Laney, Leandra LaFrazia, Anita Navarro, Shana Branch, Christy Wynn!
Bunny is an adorable little 1-2year old, 12lb. malty-poo who was rescued from a (so they say) 'non' kill shelter in Bakersfield. They adopted her out twice and she came back because she needs to be fed special food, because she throws up if she eats too fast or if the food is too big- she has a throat defect that doesn't allow her to scarf her food without vomiting. Other than that, she's a wonderful, healthy little girl with a lot of spunk and charisma! Bunny would love a home where she can be loved on and with someone most of the day. Ideally a home with a stay at home mom, someone who works from home or can bring her to work, or an older retired couple would be the best for Bunny as she LOVES being around people. Bunny is up to date on shots, spayed, dewormed, micro-chipped and comes with a free month of pet insurance. Adoption fee $300
