Mother Goose, a purebred Maltese, was not in the best shape when she arrived at SDR. She was covered in fleas and her hair was thinning. We are working on turning her into the lovely dog that she is. She has lived her life up to now with someone more interested in the puppies she could provide than in the companionship she could have given. She’s learning some people just want to pamper and cuddle her. She is 10 years old and weighs 8lbs. No small children for Mother Goose. SmallDog Rescue considers Mother Goose a permanent foster, She has been diagnosed with cancer that is not treatable. but SmallDog Rescue is committed to paying for her medical care for as long as she is with us.
