Description:
Notes: Homeward Bound Dog Rescue is an all volunteer rescue organization. All our dogs and puppies are in foster homes and we do NOT have a facility as we are not a shelter. Please take a few minutes to read our web site www.homewardbounddogrescue.com for adoption information. We understand you may be very excited about the adoption process (we are too!) but we are sure you will find the site very informative (we get tons of compliments!) We are at Benson's Pet Store every Saturday (directions are on our website) with weekly adoption clinics. We require an approved application before we consider anyone for an adoption - so filling out the application is your first step. Once you fill out an application you should hear from us within 5 days but if you do not please email us. Different dogs and puppies go up for adoption EVERY WEEK so please feel free to visit the site and click on the Petfinder link or additional photos or come to an adoption clinic. To answers to any other questions regarding our pets please visit our web site: www.homewardbounddogrescue.com Puppies and dogs up to 2 years old are $275. Dogs over 2 years old are $175. Reminder to bring us your bottles on Saturday if you are near Benson's. We are an all volunteer group and all funds go to help the dogs. BUBBA is 1-1/2 year-old male black Lab. He is a sweet, loving boy but has some special needs as he is very high energy and needs training to focus. He is very smart and can sit, stay, shake and do down. He needs a strong person who can reinforce and continue his training as he has been placed in the wrong situations causing his hyperness to escalate. This has also made him very leery of strangers until he has had time to get to know them and feels comfortable with them, so caution is a must with new people. He loves to play and run and has lots and lots of energy to burn off so a big fenced in yard is needed. He is good with other dogs who can 'accept' his
