Description:
******Shadow is a young boywho is full of life and fun*******. He is looking for a patient family that can channel his energy with LONG WALKS, playtime and training. He is a strong dog that would love someone to train him to heal, ignore and focus on their owner. ****HISTORY*****Shadow came to us from a shelter where he had timed out and was to be euthanized. He does well with other dogs, but is a little unsure of himself on leash and hense the need for back to basics training. He needs an alpha male or female owner who can give him the confidence to follow. Shadow is with his foster care Mom and can be visited on most weekends. Just drop an email with the times you can visit. ***** IDEAL FAMILY*****If you are a runner or a hiked and want a dog to tire out on your weekends this is the dog for you. ***********DESCRIPTION:***********We think he is a cutie pie with his long legs and curley tail (actually the best kind of tail for inside the house). He has a lovely white blaze on his chest and is a very healthy weight currently. ***CONTACT******: To visit Shadow this weekend, please email Barbara at: CanineNCaprineRescue@hotmail.com ****Please include ***a brief description of the home you can provide this deserving boy, if you have a fenced yard, experience with dogs. Other pets, children in the house or not . What would a typical day in the life of Shadow as a dog in your family look like. Adoption Fee is : $200 ***Additional - PINCH COLLAR***: For all large dogs adopted from Puget Sound Rescue we insist on the use of a pinch collar for training and walks so that new owners can handle their pets until they are comfortable with alternate collars. We find these collars to be the best training devices and find new families have the best results with them. (Approx cost is $15 at most petstores. Familes that use the collar are thrilled with the results and how humaine these collars are. Please note never leave on your pet when you return from a walk or or with other pets as can get caught up.
