This sweet girl was rescued in her last hour at a high kill shelter down south. She is sweet and gentle yellow lab looking for a new home with a family that will love her forever. Because she was recently rescued, she is still a little timid in new situations, but she is blossoming and often follows the lead of her more outgoing dog friends. Sandy is especially calm for a lab, and she will likely remain a little bit cautious in new environments and a loving, devoted companion. She walks well on a leash, is completely housebroken and has no food or toy aggression. She gets along well with other dogs and would love a home with another canine companion.
