Description:
Cocoa is 13 years old in these pictures taken January 3, 2009. Cocoa once went back and forth between her owner's home and an elderly couple's home for almost all of her life. The couple would let her in and she would stay by their fire place. Sadly the couple died. Cocoa's owners then decided to move out of state and just left her. They asked the neighbors to keep an eye on her and feed her. The neighbors then moved. That is when someone contacted us for help. Cocoa is a very happy, friendly, and loving girl. She would make a WONDERFUL companion to someone who wasn't very active but wanted the love of an animal in their lives. Cocoa wants nothing more than to be loved and to be able to lay around in the sun on a sunny day or be inside by the fire place when it is cold. She gets along great with all of the dogs, big and small, at LP. She has a great smile and you can't help but smile when you see her.
