Description:
Please contact Gayle (humane_society@msn.com), (225) 664-4468 for more information about this pet. We want to match the right pet to the right family. New owner must sign an adoption agreement, must agree to a home inspection and must have a secure fenced in yard for puppies and dogs. All of our animals are inside pets. We (me and my brothers and sisters) were rescued the Saturday before Hurricane Gustav. Our mom had been dumped off on a really busy road months before and abandoned by two families that were renting a house next to where we were born. Our mom was seen by a nice lady and told our present foster mom about her and also that she looked like she had babies. Our foster mom fed our mama so we could eat too. When she finally found out where our mom had us hidden she planned a rescue, she didn't want the old house we were under falling on us or having us drown during the hurricane. They found us on that Saturday morning and our mom was finally convinced to get in the crate with us after a double cheese burger...We are now 5 months old and me and Bonnie and Katrina are still looking for our forever homes. We are all almost housebroken and all of us have great dispositions. We love cats, other dogs and people. I am still a little shy on occassion, but I love to give kisses when I get to know you. I weigh only 22# and I don't think I will get too much bigger, maybe 40 pounds? Our adoption fee covers up-to-date vaccinations and a voucher for spaying or neutering.
