She had been hit by a car, suffering massive 'road burn' and was scheduled for euthanasia when we learned of her plight and rushed right over to save her. Luckily Abby had suffered no broken bones or internal injuries but she was 'scalped' with the skin and tissue completely ripped from the left side of her chest. Fast forward one month and Abby is good as new, almost like it never happened, completely recovered and ready for adoption. Abby is friendly and well-socialized with a medium-high activity level. Loves to run and play outside, but then settles down quickly in the house. Likes to go for walks, loves to be with people, enjoys being petted and brushed. Great with kids, cats and other dogs. Recommended for children 6 years and older. Good on a leash, rides great in the car. Knows basic commands. Housebroken and crate-trained. No issues such as separation anxiety, counter surfing or barking. Weighs about 40#, healthy, altered and utd on shots. She's a small lab and will probably never exceed 40 pounds.
