Please contact Megan (hodrescue@aol.com) for more information about this pet. Chukkar has had a horrible life. He has a horrible wound and swelling in his rear leg due to a cable being wrapped around it for days. This injury is unable to heal as our vet discovered this leg had been previously shattered and left untreated. We think he was probably used as a 'bait dog' in a fighting operation and was beaten when he didn't perform well. Due to the severity of the injuries, he had to have his leg amputated. Through all of this, Chukkar continues to wag his tail and give kisses. He hasn't met anyone he didn't instantly love!
