Benson is a sweet black lab who gets along well with children--we have a seven year old daughter that plays with him. Benson seems like he'd be willing to be the submissive dog in a two dog family, however, our alpha dog isn't willing to let him be submissive, which is why we need to find him another home. He's VERY interested in cats....probably doesn't mix too well together with them. We have two cats, and he has never gone after them, but loves to sniff a little too much for my 17 and 10 year old cats. He is very willing to please and would do VERY well in an agility competition! We found Benson at a rest stop...in Benson. Previous owners had left him there according to the rest stop attendent. We had the dog neutered thinking it would help in the dominance game between Benson and our other dog, but unfortunately, our other dog is not willing to let Benson be submissive. We also had Benson microchipped at the time of his neutering. Please give Benson the chance at a home where he can relax and shine!
