Description:
Zoya's Story: Zoya was hit by a car and her left hind leg sustained severe damage. Zoya's owner had been killed several weeks before and the family could not afford surgery. After about a week of deliberation they turned her over to our vet clinic. Due to the amount of time passed unfortunately Zoya's leg had to be amputated. She had a rough recovery and it took her time to gain confidence as a three legged dog. Happy to say she has made a FULL recovery. Zoya is a retriever mix that is about 4 years old. She is a happy girl that gets along well with other dogs. She enjoys playing with her five foster brother and sisters. Having three legs doesn't slow her down one bit. Zoya also enjoys being a couch potato and will make good use of your couch or bed if you allow her to. She is spayed, vaccinated, housebroken, listens well and is kennel trained. Zoya's ideal home would be a house with a small yard with a fence to play in; older kids and other dogs (though she would make a good only dog). Her capability to be around cats is unknown. Please consider giving this loving girl her forever home! Prior to adoption a home inspection and adoption fee of $150 will be required. Contact info: Kim Moran 505-715-7408 kimbeach@comcast.net
