UPDATE August 13, 2009Levi went to the vet to have his knees xrayed again. His knees look GREAT!! You do not see any of the shaded spots in the xrays anymore, and all you see is the normal gaps that should be between his bones. The Glucosamine/Chondrontin tablets we have been giving him since we rescued him have worked. The vet says he should continue on the tablets though, as it will still be good for him as he continues to grow. He is weighing in at 67 pounds and is such a well behaved young dog.
