YesGet along with cats? NoGet along with other dogs? Some, can be selective so will need proper intro if going to a home with other dog(s)Get along with kids? Yes Has this dog been around children under age 3? Yes If yes, how do you feel he/she reacted? We have had both our kids around her. Our youngest is 16 months right now and she plays with Roxi all the time. She gets poked in the eye and doesn't complain. She will growl and get up and move if she is getting picked on to badly.Get along with all people? All of our friends she has gotten along with great. There have been people she has growled and barked at. She is protective but has never attacked or hurt anyone.Weight now? 52 lbs.Weight full grown? SameWalks on Leash? Yes. But she will pull. She does much better without the leash.Housebroken? YesPersonality? She is very loyal, protective, energetic and athletic. She is also very very smart and wants to please. She loves people and wants to be around them as much as possible.List good traits: She listens well and wants to please. Very smart and trainable. Great running companion and guard dog. She loves to swim and will dive for rocks. Great for chasing a frisbee or a ball. Gentle with taking treats and not protective of her food.Very good traveler. Any Health Issues? None that we are aware of.Any bad habits? She is very good at getting out. Once she is out, she stays on property even when other dogs go by, but she can get out of almost anything by chewing/jumping or digging. When she had a companion dog she did not try to get out very often, as he was too lazy to go with her. She pulls on the leash and always wants to be in the front. She is very excitable and will whine and run around and jump around and wag her tail (which really hurts when it hits you) when she sees you get shoes on or a coat and thinks it is time for a walk. All of these bad traits are extremely minimized if she gets a lot of exercise.Trained to what commands? Sit, stay, heal, wait/okay (for food), gentle (for taking treats), lay down, roll over, 'let me see' (for dropping toy)Like Doggy Parks? She used to, but we stopped going because she makes a lot of noise while playing and people were worried that she was being mean. Also, we had two large dogs and they would run around together and look intimidating. Was this dog abused and how? No.Has this dog ever bitten anyone?NoAny dog aggression problems? She can be aggressive with other dogs, but usually does very well with the proper introduction. She is protective and agressive (barking/growling) to people that come to the front door and ring the door bell, but she just sounds really scary. Of course, I haven't let her out to test my theory, so, I am not completely positive she wouldn't do anything. Any anxiety separation problems? No.
