Henry loves other dogs and is fine with kitties. Now that he's in foster care, he is learning all those important things he needs to be a great doggie citizen! He's being crate trained, learning house manners and how to walk on a leash. Henry is very smart and a quick learner. He's eager to please his people and enjoys being with them. He's still young (despite his size) and needs a family who will continue with his training. Henry is a very nice young yellow lab mix who is in need of a home. He was brought into a shelter with his mom and siblings several months ago. This very rural shelter doesn't have many adoptions and Henry was shy and frightened there. He became a favorite of the shelter staff, however, who describe him as 'jokester' who loves to make everyone laugh. He is still a work in progress, but now that Henry is in foster care - he is blossoming! He always has a huge smile on his face and is just waiting to meet his new furever family!
