This is Coco (formerly Negra). She was previously living outdoors, tied up with no love or attention. She was an owner surrender. Her owners simply let her out the front door when they decided to get a puppy. A man in our Director's neighborhood agreed she could stay outside in his yard, but no one ever visited her, played with her or gave her any attention. Because of the lack of training and attention, when she went to adoption events she was very nervous and stressed. One of our foster Moms found out about her, and is making room for Coco with her current animals and other foster animal so she no longer has to stay outdoors. She has now been in her foster home for several weeks, and is learning how to live in a house. She is learning to let Mom know when she needs to go outdoors, and to get along with the other dogs in the house. She's also learning how to play - she had no idea how to chase a ball or play with a squeeky toy or to run and play with other dogs - but she's learning FAST! She LOVES to chase balls and play keep away, and she loves to run around the yard with another dog. Very soon she'll know her commands and be ready for her 'furever' home. She's VERY affectionate and loves to cuddle and give kisses! Would you like to offer this sweet girl the love she needs? This is Negra. She is currently living outside in someone's yard tied up with no love or attention because we don't have a foster home available for her. She was originally an owner surrender . Her owners let her out the front door. She had puppies and now one of the older puppies also lives outside. A man in our Director's neighborhood agreed she could stay outside in his yard but no one visits her, plays with her or gives her any attention while she's there. Because she has no training or attention, when she comes to the adoption events she is so nervous and stressed she sometimes goes #2 or #1 in her crate. However, when someone takes her out for a walk she settles down and is fine. This is a dog that is truly in need of someone to spend quality time teaching her. We really believe she would be fine with some training and the love of a human. She is in urgent need of a Foster Home, but also obviously, a 'Furever' home. Can you offer this sweet girl the love she needs?
