Homeward Bound Dog Rescue is an all volunteer rescue organization. All our dogs and puppies are in foster homes - we do NOT have a facility as we are not a shelter. We understand you may be very excited about the adoption process (we are too!) but you’ll find the site very informative.Our adoption clinics are at Benson's Pet Store every Saturday (directions are on our website). We require an approved application before we consider anyone for an adoption - so filling out the application is your first step. Different dogs and puppies go up for adoption EVERY WEEK so please feel free to visit the site and click on the Petfinder link for updates. Puppies and dogs up to 2 years old are $275. Dogs over 2 years old are $175. 100% of the adoption fees go to help us save more dogs. Whooollllllllllie HOOOOOOOOOOO. I'm Champ and guess what happened to me? I was at the shelter and some nice folks from Homeward Bound came to visit and they met me and thought I was pretty special. The nice lady and man kept thinking and thinking of me and then they made a call to my new buddy and foster dad Frank. And, ya know what he did? He came down to the shelter to bust me out and then he discovered that I am not only pretty special but I'm a PRINCE! Prince Champ he calls me and I love to give him kisses for saving me and well quite 'frankly' I just want to give him kisses cause I'm a love bug. OK - I am 9 months old and yes I am a Pit mix. I can climb a fence so I'll need some supervision. Can't wait to meet you - The Champster!
