Description:
Spud's former family got him as a puppy for their one-year-old son. Since they didn't do their homework and chose an inappropriate breed for an infant, Spud ended up at the shelter because he is too energetic. This little guy is true to his terrier nature and never stops playing and exploring until he wears down, and then he's ready for a long nap. Spud is very friendly and gets along well with everyone. He is only six-months-old, still a baby boy who has a lot of growing-up to do. Spud will do well in any size family who is familiar with the breed and is willing to spend the time and effort needed for him to have the exercise and stimulation necessary. Adoption requirements for Spud are: preadoption application, vet reference, prior experience or knowledge of this breed, fenced yard or rural acreage, and home visit. Please contact the shelter by e-mail only, since Spud is in a foster home and not at the shelter.
