Description:
Best Friends of Baker ~ Forever Homes for Pets Shorty is a purebred Jack Russell Terrier. He is a neutered male and his shots are current. Shorty is presently living in a home with two adults, one teenage girl and one other Jack Russell. Shorty settled in with the two adults and other Jack Russell but has not bonded with the teenage girl. Shorty does not do well with strange men or the men in the neighborhood. His family has to crate him when certain men come to the house. It is obvious that Shorty was abused by a man or men in his past. Shorty also has a significant scar on his neck where he has had a tight collar and probably been tethered for most of his life. Shorty loves to go for walks on a leash or runs in the park or wide open spaces. He is also verbal and likes to have the last word or groan. Shorty needs a home preferably with a single woman or a couple with a lot of time to retrain Shorty and teach him that all men are not going to hurt him ever again. Shorty also needs a secure fenced yard for his safety and exercise. Shorty also needs to be exercised daily to expend his excess energy that Jack Russell tend to have.
