Description:
Miksa is a year and a half, female Jack Russell Terrier who came to Second Chance because she did not get along with the other dominant female dog in her foster home. Miksa’s original owner worked many hours per day and she ended up being crated for twenty-two of those hours! A sweet and sometimes timid girl, Miksa loves human companionship and would do well with lots of activity and exercise. Basic obedience and recall training will be necessary. The Jack Russell Terrier is typically a very hyper, intelligent and bold breed. Miksa is just this type and also very quick-witted. We recommend a home with children thirteen years and older. Cats are fine and other dogs are possible upon introduction, although other dominant females are unlikely. If you are looking for a little whirlwind to love and train, then come and meet our baby-girl, Miksa!
