We absolutely adore Nantuck, and we're sure you will too! He is an 8 year old perky little Jack Russell Terrier. When Linda got him, he had a problem with his blood count staying up. He is fine as long as he has a 1/4 pill dose of steroid every other day. 21 pills (which lasts for 5 months) only costs $4, so it's a very inexpensive medication and very simple to give him. He does need a CBC (complete blood count) done to check his levels once every two to three months to monitor this. This is a maintenance dose that will need to be given every other day for the rest of his life. It's VERY inexpensive and his blood count stays just fine as long as he's on it. Linda has had him nearly a year now to make sure that his condition is stable before sending him to his new home without having any issues. He's a really good boy! He's happy and likes to play and would love to find a family that will give him lots of love and attention. He's being offered at a reduced adoption fee of $300 because of his special medical circumstances and needing maintenance medication. He'll reward you daily for your kindness and love.
