Valentino is approximately a 2 year old, seal and white colored Italian Greyhound. He is a nice dog, but he is very unsure of his surroundings. He will need some time to be able to learn that people can be trusted, but he has definately improved greatly from when he first arrived. Tino's foster home has children, so he is used to them, but he needs kids to be gentle with him as he is a petite little guy. Valentino likes the company of his other IG buddies, and he sometimes plays with toys. Another foster home had this to say about him recently...He is so much more social now... he took a cookie right out of my hand and played with the new foster dog while I was visiting. He walks perfectly on a leash. He would do well in a home with other iggys because Tanya said he is a follower not a leader. Great coat and very flashy too. This little boy and 14 other dogs were part of a rescue effort between the Kearney NE Humane society, the Nebraska IG Rescue, and the State of Nebraska. The Nebraska IG Rescue ended up taking 11 of the 14 Italian Greyhounds, and 3 stayed with the Kearney Humane society.
