If you're looking for a high-energy puppy - especially one with lots of performance potential - Cameo is the girl for you. Just 9 months old, Cameo lost her home due to her puppy exuberance, since she was living in an RV with retirees and just plain 'too much' for them. But Cami is 'just right' for anyone who enjoys over-the-top puppy energy, or who has thoughts of trying agility, lure coursing, racing, or other performance activity. She's practiced chasing a lure and has plenty of speed and play drive. Miss Cameo is 14 1/2 inches tall and about 10 1/2 lbs. She's a light red fawn with a small white patch on her chest and a couple white toes. Cami kennels quietly and is both outdoor housetrained and litterbox trained with good reliability for a pup. She likes playing tug, training (as long as it's fun!), running around the yard like a demon and pestering the adult IGs in her foster home. While she's currently more 'spicy' than sweet, she does eventually take a little down time to relax and snuggle, but those moments are still pretty few and far between. However, she does run right into her crate for 'nap time' whenever she's asked, and will relax quietly in her crate. Cami is very outgoing to people and other dogs, very bold and not shy. She'll make a fabulous puppy for an experienced IG owner. Cameo was spayed and had her retained baby teeth removed on August 11th. She's vaccinated and is now on HW preventative. She's healthy, energetic and ready for a home of her own! Puppy class is a requirement of all Lifeline puppies adopted at less than 1 year old, so please do your research on positive dog training in your area before you apply for Cameo.
