This pretty girl is named Heidi. She is a mix of Husky and most likely some kind of shepherd. The vet estimates her age to be around 2 years old. Heidi was found as a stray and brought into the Eau Clair Humane Society. She was adopted by a nice family that even had kids to play with. Unfortunately, one of the kids had a severe allergy to Heidi's fur and they had to regrettably bring her back to the shelter. There Heidi waited for almost 3 months for a home.Currently, Heidi is staying with a foster family. They say she has a very sweet personality and gets along with the other dogs and cats in the home. Heidi would like her luck to change for 2010 she's hoping it will be a better year. She is looking forward to someone to giving her a permanent home with lots of kindness, and then teaching her new commands. As of today, she has learned to sit and can come when called. Her next task is to learn how to walk on a leash. For Heidi, walking is o.k. but seems much to slow and boring what she really would love is to be a jogging partner to some lucky person. Just in time for the holidays, Heidi is scheduled to be spayed on Dec 22nd then anytime after that she will be ready to go to her new forever home. Please come to the adoption event to meet this sweetie.Heidi's adoption fee is $250 (plus $10 for microchip registration), which includes vet exam, age-appropriate vaccinations and tests, microchip, and spay/neuter. Please note that we only accept cash or checks - no credit cards.
