Description:
Bruiser was pulled from another shelter where his owners said 'he is hardheaded and we don't want to deal'. Well, Bruiser is a husky/shepherd/lab mix about 1 to 1 1/2 years old. He likes other dogs, but does not like the cats. Since the HSMC pulled him from that shelter, we can tell you that he listens to the staff pretty good. He is now in the prison program where inmates foster some our dogs, teach them basic commands and work on housebreaking. To meet a prison dog, you need to fill out an adoption application first. Once approved, we can set up a day and time to pull the dog from prison for you to meet at the shelter. All prison dogs must complete their first 30 days in prison. Our adoption fee is $105.00 which includes a Home Again Microchip, set of shots, deworming, heartworm testing if old enough, and spay or neuter. Plus has a 1 year rabie. If you are interested in this dog, please call the shelter at 740-852-PETS or fill out an online application at www.hsmcohio.com
