The Blount County Humane Society is striving to build a Safe Shelter where the No Kill Philosophy will be followed. No Kill means that you put the life of the animal above the human convenience known as "Animal Control". Dedicated to Helping All God’s Creatures! Kaya is a 5 year old Husky with a great personality! Besides being beautiful, she is very loving and independent. She plays very well with kids and most other dogs. She does not bark unless there is something or someone out of the ordinary. Kaya needs a good fenced in yard perferably a privacy fence. She has been spayed and up to date on shots. If you are looking for a companion that you can dedicate a lot of your time, love and attention, Kaya may be the answer. For more information, please call Diane at (865) 748-3015 or email diane.mceachern@yahoo.com The Blount County Humane Society is a Grass Roots Citizen Based 501(c)3 Non-Profit Organization made up of caring and loving people that are “Dedicated to Helping All God's Creatures". Most people think of a Humane Society as an organization that helps only dogs and cats. Of course that is one of our main goals because all of our members are crazy about dogs and cats. However when you have a passion to help animals you can’t stop with just helping these two of mans best friends. If you have a passion to help animals you want to help ALL animals whenever and wherever you can. This is why we have such big and wonderful plans for our organization. I hope you will have the vision to see and become a part of our dreams to provide a better place for ALL animals in Blount County.
