Notes: Homeward Bound Dog Rescue is an all volunteer rescue organization. All our dogs and puppies are in foster homes and we do NOT have a facility as we are not a shelter. We understand you may be very excited about the adoption process (we are too!) but we are sure you will find the site very informative (we get tons of compliments!) so your questions are more than likely answered there. We are at Benson's Pet Store every Saturday (directions are on our website) with wstseekly adoption clinics (10am-1pm). You should know that we require an approve application before we consider anyone for an adoption so filling out the application is your first step. After that, we'll be more than happy to help you. Once you fill out an application you should hear from us within 5 days but if you do not please email us. Pancho is a hound mix, is about 3 yrs old and about 50 lbs. He and his litter were dumped at a rural shelter when only 3 wks old! The person who dropped them off said they wandered up and she didn't want them. At the time, we had a boxer mix mom and she let 4 of them join her crew. Later, all were exposed to parvo. Pancho survived parvo. He was adopted when he was 12 wks old. One year later, his family moved and didn't want to take him with them so he came back to us. Pancho is a goofy guy and could use some obedience training. He loves to play with other dogs.
