Belle was abandoned and starving on a chain in a parking lot in freezing cold weather. She currently weighs 50 lbs but needs to gain some weight. The vet thinks she's about 7-8 yrs old. She's pretty tall — medium/large, white with brown and black patches and has ears like a Basset. Belle is very easy to care for. Most of the time, her foster mom doesn't even know she's there. She's a great car rider and lies right down. She loves the car! She's a fantastic, low key companion. She also gets along fine with other dogs. We feel given her great temperment that she'd be fine with kids and cats too. She is VERY willing to please and is cooperative when she is corrected. In fact, when you correct her she acts as though she expects to be hit! When she came she was full of doom and gloom, but she's starting to lighten up and wag her tail and realize life is better now. Belle is spayed, vaccinated, microchipped and heartworm negative.
