Description:
Now who could resist those sweet puppy eyes! Monica is a 8-9 month old Hound/Labrador mix. She is just the sweetest little puppy. Her coat is very clean and shiny and her long floppy ears are like velvet. Monica loves people and children alike. She is a sweetheart. Monica is crate-trained, but her new family must be up for the challenge that is raising a puppy! Obedience training, house-training... it takes effort to make a dog the best she can be! She will most likely be a large adult when fully grown. Monica was adopted 6 months ago at the tender age of 3 months by a family who promised to take care of her and give her a forever home. They had a best opportunity at that point to get her fully trained. Now, her primary care-giver is going to college and the parents don't want to care for her. They also had her as an 'outdoor' dog despite promising that she would be indoors. If she had been house-trained and allowed inside, perhaps it wouldn't be so easy to give her back; she would have been a true family member. Monica wants more than anything to have a forever home. You would need to work with her on house training as she has never had the opportunity to learn house manners. But, she promises to be the best dog ever if you'll give her the chance. Below are her puppy pictures. We will get more recent photos of her when we can. I'm sure she is just as stunning now! The adoption fee for this dog is $125, which includes the spay/neuter surgery, rabies vaccination and parvo/distemper vaccinations.
