Mojo is a 9 month old pup born to a stray female in rescue who was found with her pups. He is very smart, intuitive, has a good temperament, but can be willful, and has dominant tendencies. Someone with experience with large breed dogs would be an ideal guardian for him. He is very active, plays well with most other dogs, (he does best with female dogs,) and is good with young children. He walks well on a leash, and enjoys car rides too. He would do best in a home with a female dog or as a single dog, and children 10 and older. He will be placed as an inside pet with outside privileges to a secure above ground fenced yard. Pyrs do not do well with wireless fencing. Mojo is currently being fostered in NY.
Enrollment in obedience class will be required as part of his adoption. We recommend obedience training for all newly adopted pyrs, to help you create a special bond with you and your new friend.
