Gracie is a Golden Retreiver /pyr mix in search of a new home due to not being able to get along with the other resident female dog in the household. She is a sweetheart of a girl who has won everyone over she meets. She is loving, gentle and eager to please. She is about 3-4 years old. She is wonderful with children and gets along fine with large male dogs and cats, but would prefer to be the only female dog in the household. She does not do well with small dogs. She will be placed as inside pet with outside privileges to a secure above ground fenced yard. Pyrs do not do well with wireless fencing. We will require obedience training for he so her new guardian will be able to handle her around small dogs.
Gracie is spayed, heartworm negative and up to date on shots, heartworm and flea medication.
She is an exceptional Great Pyrenees dog who has been selected for sponsorship by National Great Pyrenees Rescue (NGPR). You can learn more about the breed and our adoption process by visiting this site. This dog is currently being fostered out of our area and NGPR will arrange for her transport to an approved home.
