Tener is a 2 year old Male great dane. He is a stunning black color with some white on his chest and paws. He is a sweet guy and still has a little room to grow. He is a doll and just loves to follow you around. Tener was surrendered by his owner when she felt that she wasnt the best home for him. He has had a number of homes and really needs to find his forever home so he doesnt have to be passed around any longer. Because of this he has developed a few bad habbits that we are working on here. He is very attached to his family and loves to follow them around and be with them. He at this point has shown no seperation anxity issues if he is left in a crate but left loose he will get into trouble. He is still a young dog and prone to making bad choices. Tener is a very sweet boy. He knows sit, down, heel, and many other commands. He is house broken and crate trained. He also is fairly mellow for such a large dog. Although a little exercise and time outside never hurts anyone. So its good to make sure he gets some exercise. He has no food or toy aggression and prefers people to dogs. In his past home he has shown some same sex aggression with male dogs, but here we have seen none. I honestly feel that in the right home he would be fine with other male dogs he just needs a good pack leader so he can feel safe and secure. Tener is up to date on his shots, and altered. He also has been dewormed and had a flea treatment just as a percaution. He shows no allergys that we have seen but would do great on a good quality dog food since his coat could use a little help. We have put him on a good quality food and are already seeing a change. He has been ok with the cats at his foster home but again needs an owner who lets him know that chasing them from the beginning woint be allowed. Also due to his size and nervousness we are suggesting a home with no small kids. If you are intersted in Tener we would love to hear from you. Please email us for an applcation or with questions. We are asking a 300.00 adoption fee to help cover the cost of his vet care, and care while he was here.
