My name is Pepper. My story is long and sad and I don't want to talk about it. The rescue angels saved my life! They paid for emergency surgery so I could live! I was in Illinois at the time and a very frighten and confused girl. When I first came to the rescue I was terrified and in pain and didn't want anyone to come near me. I'm a lot better now and let people pet me but I'm not 100% trusting yet. I would run away if there wasn't a fence. Not cause I don't like it here, just cause I'm scared. I'm around 2.5 years old and I know I have a good life to look forward to. Foster mom tells me to be patient and that I am a good girl. I don't mess in the house, I go to my crate to eat and sleep and always do what I am told. My other home had children and cats and dogs so I am used to lots of things. Maybe someone who used to be afraid of things will adopt me and help me overcome my fears. We have a fund on our website called 'cosmos fund' where we are accepting donations to help pay for the $1400 for Peppers surgery.
