Description:
For more information about this Dane, please visit our website at www.rmgreatdane.org. Adoption Applications can be found on the home page. Male, 9 months, Brindle, Natural Ears Rajah is a sprightly 9-month-old male brindle Dane with natural ears and striking tiger-like coloring. He was surrendered to Rescue by his previous owners, who could not give him the extra care he needs due to his treatable medical issue (Rajah has been diagnosed with pancreatic insufficiencies, which require powder enzymes be placed on his food prior to eating.) His foster mom says, “Rajah was outside one day last week and our neighbor threw his Frisbee into our yard by accident. Thinking it was a game, Rajah caught it in mid-air. Our neighbor came in the yard and played with him for a bit but when he tried to leave, Rajah wouldn’t give it back. The message was clear: ‘If you stay and play, I’ll be nice and play. But if you’re leaving, you can forget the Frisbee -- it’s mine!” Rajah is house and crate trained, and he passed his temperament test with flying colors. He is a very bright boy and an incredibly fast learner. Rajah loves to chew and plays with any toy he can get his paws on! He also loves to run and ride in cars. He is a gentle boy, yet protective of his owners, monitoring the front fence for passersby. His foster mom adds, “Rajah will make the very best dog for an adult family with an active life. We love his happiness and his willingness to play with us anytime we want.”
