Description:
Polkadot is a beautiful, 2 year old, Harlequin, female Great Dane. She was sadly abandoned in the country and left to fend for herself, so she is completely emaciated right now and we'll be working on fattening her up with lots of groceries! She is about as sweet and loving as they come and warms up to anyone, but she is a little more shy around men than women. Polkadot is great with other dogs of all sizes and doesn't seem to have a mean bone in her body. Her foster family will be working on house training, crate training, and basic commands. She is very eager to please and seems to be a fast learner so far. Like most Danes, Polkadot is a leaner and a true gentle giant. She does have one eye that is smaller than the other and may possibly have been previously injured due to a corneal ulcer that went untreated but it doesn't bother her at all now nor does it hold her back from loving her new life!
