Male, 2.5 years, Black, Natural Ears Hammy is a fun-loving 2.5-year-old black male Dane/Coonhound mix with natural ears. He was surrendered to Rescue when his previous owners had a baby and made the decision to give up both of their dogs. His foster mom says, “Hammy is a lover and loves to cuddle. He follows me around everywhere. When I get up in the morning for work, he gets up and lies down in front of the bathroom while my Dane, Lilly, sleeps in! He loves to play tug-a-war with me, my daughter and Lilly. Hammy is a very happy dog, his tail is always wagging!” Hammy is great with other dogs and he loves to visit the dog park. He’s also excellent with children. He knows his basic commands, is house and crate trained, and is trustworthy with free roam. His foster mom adds, “I love how Hammy plays with Lilly; he is gentle but knows how to have fun. He is so lovable and just needs someone to give him that love. Hammy’s name definitely fits his personality, as he is a ham!” Hammy needs a home without cats.
