Description:
Teddy has taken to watching TV, particularly if there are other animals to see - he particularly likes dogs and cats, but also horses and cows. He usually tries to talk with the animals but they don't talk back. He is afraid of certain things, especially cameras, and hates having his picture taken. He continues to enjoy the snow and, with his long legs, walks right through our deep snow without problems. He is still waiting for his forever home but in the meantime is enjoying long walks (when it isn't too cold), lying on the couch and playing with my other dog Gryffin. December 29, 2009 Teddy has had a great holiday season so far with lots of toys from Santa and many visitors to welcome. Constant petting is his preference. He loves to roll and play in the snow but wishes his foster family goldens would play more with him outside. He continues to growl just a little bit if other dogs walk near him while he is eating but otherwise he is completely nonaggressive and is very playful with other pups. He is always interested in going for a car ride and seeing the sights. He is periodically interested in what is on TV, especially when there is another animal to watch and bark at. Overall he is a very curious and sweet guy who is always ready to play with other dogs or hang out on the couch with head in lap. November 3, 2009 There is not much new to tell about Teddy. He is getting used to his gentle leader but still does not like it much. He still resource guards a little around other dogs when he is eating. He does not do this much with toys and actually is learning to play tug with stuffed animals with my other dogs. He is never aggressive and always playful with my other dogs - would just like the other dogs to play more. He loves to lie at my feet or on the couch next to me. He is still leery of some sounds on TV and finds his reflection in a window interesting. He tries to do the right thing most of the time and is easily redirected to appropriate behavior. He is another, big, loveable golden looking for his forever home.
