Jumper is about 2y/o. He was found in a school yard by a teacher. His tail was injured and bleeding. It was treated by the vet who docked it. He is heartworm neg. He loves to play ball. He retrieves but doesn't give it up easily. He is very energetic and loves to go on long walks. He needs leash training as well as basic commands. I will be working with him to make him a good canine citizen. He learns very quickly. He is somewhat timid around other dogs but will be aggressive if food is involved. That can be corrected. He would make a good family pet for youthful people. We recommend a home without small children only because he likes to jump up and is not much concerned on what he lands. He is not malicious, but just the opposite. He loves kids and is very friendly.
IMPORTANT NOTE: All dogs need regular vigorous exercise. They also should be obedience trained and have an owner that knows how to be a true pack leader. We will only consider adopting to people willing to give the proper care and leadership that all dogs need.
