Geri is a male Retriever mix approximately 5-6 years old. He was found 2 years ago after being hit by a car. Vets said his pelvis healed incorrectly, probably due to curling up in a ball after the accident and not being found until his pelvis had fused a few weeks later but he is not dysplastic. He does not seem to have any ill effects from his injury. He runs, jumps, and plays like a puppy. He gives no indication that his injury causes him pain. He is active and craves attention, as well as being eager to please. He loves to shake hands and play with kids. He is an indoor dog as much as outdoor. He is accustomed to sleeping indoors. He needs some house training although he is well on his way. I won't say he's completely house trained. He is wonderful with children and other dogs but does not do well with cats. He is a runner so he needs a fenced in yard and an owner who can give him lots of love and attention, and continue his house training. He is a very sweet dog and a very loyal pet.
