pdate: 09/08 The dog days of summer may finally be drawing to a close… but another dog is finally ready to have her day as an official “adoptable”! That’s right, little Izzy is done with her heartworm treatment and ready to move in with the perfect family. She has come a long, long way from the bedraggled little gal who came into rescue just a few months ago. You can tell she feels pretty darn good—she smiles all day long! We’ve only found one thing Izzy really doesn’t like, and that’s thunderstorms. If she’s in her crate, she panics. You need to let her out, turn on the lights, and let her be near you so she can settle down until all the commotion is over. Izzy is a calm and gentle dog – relaxed around kids, very reliable in the house. She takes treats daintily, like the lady she is, but does she ever love her meals.
